Not pictured: Melinda Baganz, vice president.To promote a better understanding of the theatre,to keep aware of old and new trends in dramatics, tokeep abreast of plays old and new, written in thiscountry and abroad, and to present the best in dramaticentertainment are the basic goals and objectives of theSENIOR HIGH PROSCENIUM PLAYERS.They presented their annual three-act play, a comedy,7 Remember Mama, to the student body during matineeperformances. The play was open to the public duringtwo evening performances.During Drama Night in May, the members of theclub proceeded to display their talents by presentinga one-act serious play. The Junior High ProsceniumPlayers also participated in Drama Night. At the endof each year the club has a picnic. At these picnics,the outstanding senior dramatists are presented trophies.Officers of the club this year were Gayle Bishop,president; Melinda Baganz, vice-president; EvelynWhaley, secretary; Chuck Jean, treasurer; and RichardEngle and John Pomeroy, sergeants-at-arms.
