Description: • -Junior ActivitiesEarly in the year, representatives from elevendifferent jewelry companies met with the ClassRing committee. The committee, composed ofsome juniors and the class sponsors, listened toeach of the representatives as they told anddemonstrated the different aspects of their rings.After interviewing all of the representatives, thecommittee discussed the different products. Theyvoted, and by unanimous decision Jostens ofOwatonna, Minnesota was selected as the dealerfrom whom the rings would be purchased. TheJostens representative brought a case of ringsto school. Each junior selected and made adown-payment on the ring which suited him asto color, size and price. The rings were expectedto arrive in February.The junior class sponsored a football pep-session, but due to the fact that the class had justbeen organized, the pep-session could not be anelaborately planned one. The entertainment consisted of the B.H.S. Marching 100 goingthrough various routines.The second pep-session was before B.H.S metthe Bedford Stonecutters. The theme was centered around school spirit. The scene was asolemn court room with a stern old judge andM>Seated—Linda Fromke, Nancy Branum, Shelby Hobbs, KarelBrown. Standing—Bill Minor, David Wampler, Tom Minnick, Rick Rechter.jury. B.H.S., represented by girls dressed asangels, and Bedford, represented by boys instriped pajamas, were on trial. The B.H.S.student body did some vigorous yells, and thenBedford, represented by juniors, made a miserable showing when they yelled. Of course, thejury found Bedford guilty of poor school spirit.Junior class officers this year were DavidWampler, president; Bill Minor, vice-president;Nancy Branum, secretary; and Tracy Branum,treasurer. Miss Elizabeth Dodds and Mr. V. W.Babb were the junior class sponsors.Seated—Miss Dodds, sponsor, Nancy Branum, secretary,Tracy Branum. treasurer. Standing—Bill Minor, vice-president, Mr. Babb, sponsor, David Wampler, president.Paddy Engle, Ann Martin, Larry Fleener, Ted Skirvin.
