They were Jerry Tardy, Larry Fleener, Dave Medaris, Newell Gooldy, Larry Ryser, JohnHenry, Don Pate, Ronnie Bland, Jim Ferguson, BillWilliams, Don Kinney, Millard Hacker, and DaveWampler, student manager.The Panthers started their season on the first dayof school by being defeated by Connersville 33-13.During the next contest on the 14th of September,the Huff-men met the New Albany Bulldogs on aslippery field.
