Description: TennisCoach Joe Averys tennis team ended another successful season. Although a relatively newsport at Bloomington, tennis teams have establishedsome very admirable records. Paced by GeneTardy, a three year letterman, and Jim Knapp, atwo year letterman, the 52 team extended along string of victories.TENNISGene Tardy, Jim Knapp.GolfWith several returning lettermen, the golfsquad began practice early in March preparingfor the tough schedule ahead of them. Coachedby John Brogneaux, the squad broke par this yearby placing high in the Southern Indiana ConferenceMeet.Although there is a fairly large participationin golf, it is one of the less popular sports at B. H. S.as far as fans are concerned. H. S. turn out to participate in the old American sport, baseball.
