S. students and many faculty members is a daily task for theexperienced members of the cafeteria staff. Miss Margaretta Payne is responsiblefor the management of the staff. Miss Paynes assistants are Mrs. Laura Raper,Mrs. Tessie Retzlaff, Mrs. Goldie Adams, Mrs. Nora Marshall, and Mrs. AliceSullivan.THE BOOKSTORE STAFF ADMINISTERS MANY SERVICES such as: rentingbooks, handling club money, and ordering class rings, announcements, and caps andgowns. Manager of the bookstore is Mr. Herschel Black whose assistants are Mrs.Nan Voorhies and Mrs. Velva Lamon.SPECIAL CLASSES IN CORRECTING SPEECH AND HEARING are offeredto B. H. S. students. Students who have defective hearing may take lessons in lip-reading from Mr. Sidney Janssen. Mrs. Mary Neill is in charge of speech correction.MANY MEDICAL SERVICES ARE offered by the health department.Among these services are physical examinations, vaccinations, and first aid for minorailments. The health department consists of Dr. Ray Borland; Mrs. Mary Homann,R. N.; Miss Phyllis Hudson, R.
