£pcttjTHE BOOSTERS CLUBOrganized for the first time this year, theBoosters Club helped to promote school spirit.Membership was open to any student in seniorhigh school. Club meetings were held during thefifth period on the first and third Tuesdays of everymonth.Each member was expected to attend thebasketball games in the Second Street Gym andwear the color chosen for that game.Several of their projects were a trip to NewAlbany for our last basketball game and the making of crepe paper hats and shakers for the sectional and regional tournaments.Officers for l952-53 school year were DickBeikman, president; Jack Jackson, vice president;Jim Butcher, secretary; and John Harrell, treasurer.The sponsors of the club are Miss Ariel Greenand Mr. Joe Avery. |
