This clubappeals especially to those students who are interested in currentevents. Foreign students from Indiana University and those whohave traveled abroad served as guest speakers for the programs atclub meetings. The clubs Christmas program consisted of a JewishRabbi who spoke on the Jewish Festival of the Lights. The B.H.S.Spanish teacher spoke on the different customs and laws of theMexican people. The education in Japan and how it has advancedsince the war was the topic of a Japanese young man. An Egyptianwoman told of the great steps the exchange of students was makingin promoting the principles of the United Nations.Dues are not required. The club for the second time sponsoredthe House of Horrors for the Winter Carnival. The officers were:Carter Love, president; Clarice Graves, vice president; and EllenLehman, secretary.
