This year the club presenteda three-act play, a one-act Christmas play, a meller-drammer for the Winter Carnival, and a one-act playfor Drama Night.Mr. William Voorhies and Mr. Ernest Horn are thesponsors of the club. Officers were Delia Austin, president; David Hyde, vice president; Judy Branam, secretary; Harold Wolfe, treasurer; Kenny Simpson andDavid Pomeroy, sergeants-at-arm.The Junior High Proscenium Players presented a one-act play for the Winter Carnival. The general themeof the clubs meetings was studying stage fundamentals.The clubs sponsor is Mrs. Elizabeth Blewett. Officerswere Janet Hill, president; Tommy Stuart, vice president; Myrna Inman, secretary; and Larry Lemon,treasurer.Credit for presenting a professional-like performanceshould be given to those working behind the scenesas well as those in the spotlight.Working behind the scenes at B.H.S. were the membersof the Technical Staff, who had much to do with making a performance a success. Scenery, sound, costumes,make-up, lighting, publicity, and properties for performances were the chief concerns of the staff.Members of the staff were divided into crews, and eachcrew was responsible for doing its part in making aperformance a success.
