Description: Blue TriangleWhat is the largest girls organization inBloomington High School? It is the Blue Triangle, of course. It is a branch of the Y.W.C.A.and is limited to junior and senior girls.The outstanding project of the club is theBlue Triangle Chorus. The chorus presented aChristmas program for one of our regular clubmeetings and also at the First Baptist Church.This spring the chorus sang for the Easter Convocation, the Kiwanis Club, and the FairviewMethodist Church.Another big project of the year was the selling of candy in the front hall after school. Theproceeds from this are used each year to awarda one semester scholarship to Indiana Universityto an outstanding girl in the Blue Triangle. Purple and white shakers were made by the girlsand sold to students at basketball tournament,time.One of the most impressive programs wasthe initiation service held the first semester.The girls also enjoyed a fall style show andpotluck supper given in October.It is the cabinet members who plan andcarry out the functions of the Blue Triangle.Those officers not in the picture are: Dotti McConville, vice president; Barbara Parker, secretary; Patricia Burks, service chairman; andBetty Groh, social chairman.
