Stradling, Not Shown Clifford MyersCoaches and Faculty ManagerMARVIN GROH graduated from B.H.S. in 1938,where he won two major letters in basketball.He played baseball at Indiana University forthree years. His duties at B.H.S. include coaching the baseball squad, the reserve basketballteam, and acting as assistant coach in football JOHN BROGNEAUX, head basketballcoach and assistant football coach, attendedUpland High School where he won three majorletters in basketball. Before graduating fromBall State Teachers College, he earned twoletters in basketball and two letters in football,and was named All-State Tackle FREDHUFF, Jr., chief mentor of our football teamand freshman basketball team, attended highschool at B.H.S. where he won three letters infootball and one in basketball. He graduatedfrom Indiana University, where he was awardedtwo letters in football and the Big Ten medalfor scholarship and athletics .... J. W. STRADLING, faculty manager, has charge of the ticketsales for all games and manages the athleticfinances. He also arranges for transportationand meals for our athletic teams. Tournamenttime finds Mr. Stradling very busy, since he isgeneral manager of the tourney ticket sales LAVERNE BURNS is coach of the track,cross country, Junior High basketball, andassistant football coach. He attended Washington High School, Indianapolis, where he wona letter in basketball, three letters in track, andfrom 1933 to 1943 held the high school recordfor the 100 yard dash. An injury cut short hisfootball career at Butler UniversityCLIFFORD MYERS, after winning three majorletters in wrestling and placing first in thestate meet, graduated from B.H.S. in 1933.
