There is no fee charged to pupils. The staff is under the direction of the faculty advisor,Mrs. Jean Foster; Mr. J. W. Stradling, business manager; and Mr. Paul Vonderschmidt, printingadviser.During the week of November 9-16 the Optimist Staff sponsored Good Citizenship Weekwith all students voting for the B.H.S good citizen. This year, for the first time, the staff organized a news bureau. The bureau edits all copy released to local newspapers. At the annualdance the staff sponsored the Panther Mascot Contest.
