Frye, is aregularly scheduled class- This musical organization is open to any B.H.S.student meeting entrance requirements.The first two months of the school year are devoted to learning marchingmaneuvers. The Marching Eighty performs at football games and numerousparades. This year the group made trips to Brazil and Terre Haute.November is the beginning of concert season. The Band then concentrates on material for the winter concert held in December before the Christmasholidays.During the basketball season, the Band participates in all pep sessionsand at basketball games.In May the Band ends its many school activities with a Spring Festival.During the summer months, the group presents concerts at the Third Street Park.The Bloomington High School Band generally makes from eighty to onehundred public appearances a year.This Page Sponsored by BLOOMINGTON FLOOR COVERING — 218 W. 7th St.Page 87
