Theiractivities do not end with the close of school; all summer the industrious studentspractice and give concerts every Thursday night in the Third Street Park.Measurements were finally taken for the much needed and long awaited uniforms. The orchestra made public appearances at all 3 act plays and at Baccalaureate. The purpose of the band and orchestra is to produce and gain an appreciation of good music. The highlights of the year were a spring and a fall band andorchestra concert. The two took turns about being host for several parties. Thefinal social event of the year was the annual picnic held near the close of school.PAGE 93
