B. H S LettermenNow we come to the athletes of B.H.S. -—the B-Men. To become a member of this club, aboy must be a letter winner in a sport and beformally initiated in one of the several ceremonies each year. In this initiation he is presentedwith the official symbol of the club, his B pin.The purpose of the B-Mens club is to promote better understanding and cooperation a-mong the various branches of athletics in theschool and to create a more wholesome respectfor the athletic B. Formerly undertaken byB-Mens Dads, the awarding of a trophy to outstanding players in each sport is now a functionof the B-Mens club. The trophies are financedthrough dues and the B-Mens minstrel. Thosereceiving the honors this year were KennethFinley, football; James Dearring, basketball;Robert E. Stewart, wrestling.Social activities consisted of parties and hayrides. At the meetings, held twice a month, waysto better the club were discussed. The officerswere Clarence La Master, president; KennethFinley, vice president; Bob E. Stewart, secretary-treasurer.
