Bob was agood defensive man, caught many passes forgains.KENNETH UNDERWOOD: Junior guard.Equally good on offense and defense, we expectgreat things from him next year.RAY MARTINDALE: Junior fullback. Raysalternate passing and running make him a potential star in his senior year.GEORGE THRASHER: Junior center. A dependable center and linebacker, Georges experience will be a valuable aid to next years team.JOE RECORDS: Senior center and guard. Playing both guard and center, Joes team spirit wasexemplary.RICHARD LYON: Senior halfback. Althoughsmall, Jeep was fast and a very hard blocker.BOB MARTY: Senior tackle. A good defensivetackle, Bob broke up many of the opponentsplays.AUSTIN STEPHENS: Junior halfback. Themost improved back of the season, Audie was afine high knee action runner.RAY LANUM: Senior tackle. Ray made greatimprovement during the year and landed aregular berth the latter part of the season.FRANK GIFFORD: Senior end. Although hampered by a leg injury, Frank was an excellentcompetitor.GEORGE DE BOY: Sophomore end. A good defensive player, George should be an outstandingend next year.PAGE 97
