Hows the situation in Germany? Theseare but a few of the timely subjects discussed at I.R.C. meetings. Other topicsincluded the Palestine question, China, current affairs in the United States andin Great Britain. In connection with the study of the British Empire, the groupreceived some first hand information about living conditions and problems facingpost-war England. Giving the British point of view was Miss Camp, exchangeteacher from Slough, England. During her two semester stay in Indiana, MissCamp was co-sponsor of the International Relations Club. The members chose as aproject, to increase their knowledge of the United Nations. To carry out thisplan, several meetings were devoted to informing the group on the various phasesof the U. N. The officers were Anna Ritter, president; Jane Copeland, vice president; Ruby Davis, secretary-treasurer; Miss Ferger and Miss Camp, sponsors.Public Address OperatorsKenneth Owens, Bill Stickels.Good things come in small packages—for evidence of this, glance at the servicerecord of the Public Address Operators. Although it is our schools smallest club, it performs one of the most important services.Under the guidance of the club sponsor, Mr.Van Horn, the members set up the P. A. system at pep sessions, dances, convos, and othersimilar functions. In fact, it can be said thatwherever you find a loudspeaker you will findthe P. A. Staff.r
