To be eligible fornomination, the student must rank in the upper fourth of the SeniorClass, and have been outstanding in character, leadership, and service to the school during his four years in high school. Five per cent ofthe class is chosen from the upper fourth for membership duringtheir sixth semester. The following seniors were elected during theirjunior year: Peggy Adams, Rebekah Bruton, Robert Osmon, KatherinePatton, Rosalie Richards, Ralph Templeton, and Ilene Williams.Initiation for the newly elected members is held each spring at asenior high school convocation.The social event of the year is the formal banquet for all activemembers the evening of the Junior-Senior Prom.Miss Coffey sponsors the National Honor Society.
