HumphreyRalph Templeton Mrs. PetersCLASS OFFICERSOn April 12, we, the class of 1945, after a tough,competitive battle, threw away our campaign soap-boxesand congratulated our new class officers.Our capable and amicable president, Ray Phelps,was also captain of our victorious football squad. Raycan be found each Saturday tinkering with cars at hisdads filling station Bob Osmon, vice president,center on the basketball team, has also been outstandingin scholastic ability. Bob is looking forward to the daywhen he can hang out his shingle containing the lettering, R. V. Osmon, M.D. Our accurate secretary, Phyllis Hite, is one of the outstanding leaders in4-H club work. Phyllis applies her scientific talents in thesummers when helping her parents farm NormaLou Humphrey, class treasurer, has endeared herself toall with her quick wit and dramatic attainments. LouLous pride and joy is her speedy little red and chromiumconvertible Peggy Ann Hall, our efficient Gothiceditor, has proved that dramatics and music are two ofher big aspirations. Peg enjoys charcoal sketching forher avocation Ralph Templeton, our competentGothic business manager, is also a skilled musician in theschool band and orchestra. During most school events,Rufe may be seen operating the Public Address system.With Mrs. Peters, financial advisor, and Miss Rector,Gothic advisor, as our sponsors, we launched into a busyyear of junior, senior activities.
