The high point of the evening was the coronation.Peggy Adams and Joe Thompson (who reigned during the illness ofOtto McHenry) were crowned Prom Queen and King. . . . Dramaticpresentations this year included The Doctor Has a Daughter,The Lovely Duckling, The Gothic Follies, and the Senior Pep Session .... On November 20, 1944, we seniors Virginia reeled,hot dogged, and coked at a party in the girls gym.Our rushed senior week included the traditional Class Day andtree planting. . . the senior get together when we said farewell atour last social event . . . our beautiful and reverent Baccalaureateservice and climaxing our senior year—Commencement.
