^Jue 2uill and ScnollThe Quill and Scroll, International Honor Society forHigh School Journalists is composed of students whohave done outstanding work in the field of journalism.After doing outstanding work, the student must rank inthe upper one-third of his class, scholastically; be recommended by the journalism instructor, and have a sample of his work approved by the National secretary of theorganization.At the Franklin Press Conference in 1935, Mr. CharlesA. Wells, cartoonist, reporter, analyst of work politics,was made an honorary member of the Bloomington chapter in a ceremony performed there. With his permissionthe local chapter continues under his name.The chief activity of this group is the writing of theSenior Class Will and Prophecy.During the school year four members received honorablemention in national contests.
