Thegame was hard fought all the wray, withVincennes scoring first on a 65 yard runby Tipton, but the Panther defense tightened up and they never again threatened.Manual High of Indianapolis was thenext victim, falling before the Panthers46—0. The game was extremely one-sided,Bloomington making many long runs andscoring almost at will. It gave the team achance to try out many plays in the preparation for the seasons climax, Brazil, thefollowing week.The last game of the year and the lastfor eleven seniors was played in the Indiana University Stadium against thestrong Brazil eleven. The Panthers played a better brand of ball in this gamethan was shown all year, winning by a27-6 score. The game, the first half, wasextremely close and hard fought, the Panthers leading by a 7-0 count. The lineand backs worked very well together andshowed almost perfect team work.
