He requires several minutes towind up, but after the preliminaries are over, his laugh is well worthhearing (its one of those convulsive, shaky-kneed, foamy kind). The majority of Rats’ friends believe he will settle down andrun for sheriff as soon as he is twenty-one.Just below is Glenn Jones, usually known as Desperate Rudolph. In the picture he is posing as Delbert, the Spring Poet. DelbertRudolph is the only original person in school.Vashon Booker T. Eagleson is Poet Laureate. She was once the guardian angel of all the boys, making-it her special duty to keep them out of the pool rooms, etc., but shefound it too much work, and is now centralizing her attention on one.Nothing more propitious could be said about the Burch Twins(58than that most people didnt know there were two of them.Gilbert Corr, alias Hart, Schaffner & Marx, sometimes knownas Wissen, is a ketch-up fiend. He also has the distinction ofknowing every student in the University, and never fails to speak.(Well have to stop here. The joke section begins on page 83.)To the right is Paul Wet Blanket McNabb. He once dwelledin the Stone City, but came to Bloomington in order to receive theadvantages of a city education. Next to BillHoadley, Justin is the worst lady-fusser in school.Nola Adamson is an angel, but her heart is in Wash-wish-sha-ka-sha-wish, Canada.
