Arent some datesappropriate?1909Jan. 2: -New Years resolution: “To bluff every teacher inevery subject.Jan. 3: -Members of 08½ class visited schoolsee our old alumni.Jan. 5: -Win Greene attends Senior Latin class.Noyer recalls story of the prodigal son and inviteshim to come back to the fold.Jan. 8: - A gentleman Latin teacher of our school went tothe University library last night. Did you seehis new over shoes today? When asked why hetook such a large pair he replied, that somebodyswiped his overcoat and he had to have some-thing to break the wind.Jan. 9: -Specula arrives and the new town clock starts.Jan. 10: -German club meets. Sherl Hazel comes downtown after dark.Jan. 12: -Mr. Pittenger organizes a grammar class.Jan. 14: -Potter says it takes less heat to warm the buildingthis year than ever before. He cant explain it.Consulted the Physics teacher. Teacher went toevery thermometer in every room. Reason wasvery apparent. Somebody had pushed the bulb upso that it read fifteen degrees higher than it should.Jan. 15: -John Bunnel burns right arm. Gets excused fromall written work and the joke of it is that he writesentirely with his left arm.Jan. 18: -Mr. Ramsey works all day and nine-tenths of thenight on the new schedule.Jan. 20: -Final tests of the semester tomorrow.
