Description: Cheerleaders Cop Coca-Cola AwardSiFOR THE second consecutive yearBloomington High Schools varsitycheerleaders captured the covetedCoca-Cola award. The award, symbolic of outstanding appearance,ability, and attitudes, was won incompetition with 160 other units inthe summer of 71 at Vincennes. Thepossibility of, this supremacy endingnext year seems unlikely when oneconsiders that the Panther reservessquad finished third in the samecompetition. Besides the countlesshours of practicing and cheering atgames, the girls sacrificed a greatdeal of their time painting spiritsigns and baking cookies for the athletes. This years varsity squadwhich was expanded from six toseven members included ClaireBrown, Pam Clampitt, B. J.
