B-Men Host Football, B-Ball GamesTO BE a member of the B-Men Club a BHSathlete must have earned a varsity letter. To earnthis award the athlete had to participate in varsitycompetition and meet the standard requirementsof the respective sports. Outstanding members ofthe club were eligible to receive athletic scholarships.The B-Men sponsored an after game dance inorder to raise money tor a banquet at the endof the school year. They also sold key-chains,buttons, and other booster items to support thePanther teams. Members aided at home footballand basketball games by ushering, selling programs, sweeping the floor, taking tickets, andother necessary duties.The club officers were Charlie Byrnes, president; John Byers, vice-president; and Joe Greenwell, secretary-treasurer.
