Description: Of course, who can forget thatmemorable day in October while picnicking at 9th Street Park. Some student, justtrying to enjoy himself, decided to climb atree and ended up falling to his doom.This resulted in two broken wrists and avery entertaining afternoon.In December, we cut classes fortwo days in order to resolve some keyissues, such as lack of respect, attendance,and poor attitudes. We have reaped thebenefits from this occasion second semester-attendance is much better, and studentsand staff are maintaining a more comfortable school climate.The first crisis of the year was thedrug dog threat. Our fearless leader,Chuck Holloway, was the first to receiveword that a search might be made.Chuck feels that if this search was/is tofind dealers and help those students with aproblem, than he is behind the plan. However, he does not support this method as away to simply bust kids.This spring, we are looking forward to a number of first-time events. Weare taking a trip to the Indianapolis Zoo inlate May.
