Improving classes such asReading/Writing Workshop and getting anearly start on the yearbook, she has caughtsome stars and will aim for the planets nextyear. Janet said, “We need to a core group ofstudents to be leaders and help the staff create an atmosphere of respect, integrity, purpose, and creativity.”JanHagemeyerStrolling along a new path, JanHagemeyer has shot into this year with exciting accomplishments and hopes of even morein the future. Seeing Aurora receive respectand become an accepted part of the community is a personal goal for Jan, and she feelswe are on our way. “People are learning torespect, trust, and care about each other,” shesaid. Jan is also working to develop a partnership with the business community, and will direct a co-op program next year.
