News Release: Basel, Switzerland, May 9 (delayed)--Mel R. Osborne represented the officials of Kiwanis International attending the chartering of the new Kiwanis Club of Basel, Switzerland, Thursday evening, May 9, at the Stadt Casino in Basel. Osborne is a Vice-President of the international service organization. He was one of one-hundred and fifty Kiwanians and their wives from twenty-nine U.S. states, two provinces, and the Bahama Islands attending the ceremony as part of the Kiwanis European Mission. Osborne, from 264 Bloor Street, West, is a Toronto pharmacist. |
