News Release: Vienna, Austria, May 5 (delayed)---Wells Ruby, 1138 Schofield Building, Cleveland, Past President of the Kiwanis Club of Cleveland, Ohio, presents a club banner to Kurt Widter, Vienna, Austria, President of the newly organzied Kiwanis Club of Vienna. The presentation took place Saturday evening, May 4, 1963, in Vienna, as part of the charter ceremonies for the new club. The Kiwanis Club of Vienna is the first Kiwanis club to be organized in Europe. About five hundred Americans joined one hundred Austrians in the ceremonies at the Palais Auersperg in Vienna. |
