This house appears to have been built by William P. Jungclaus and Company between 1882 and 1884 for Joseph B. Thale. This 1-story, frame, Stick Style cottage with clapboard siding. There are vertical accents at the doors and windows. The roof is cross-gable in plan, with brackets at the corners and in the porch. -Herron-Morton Place Historic Area Preservation Plan, 1986.
