Description: Bartemus Williams House, Williams Rd., Williams Indiana, c. 1969, [The house was demolished during 1977 and 1978. The photo is, no doubt, Amel D. Williams (center) (a great-grand nephew of the builder Bart Williams. Amel lived in the house after Cornelia Williams Jones passed for a time), next is John Jones, (left) one of Walter and Cornelia Williams Jones sons who was Herman B Wells roommate at IU, and then next is Herman Wells (right). Amel was the great grandson on Richard who built the brick house currently owned by Dave Redman. Richard was a brother to Bart.There is a house in Bedford which has as its exterior, bricks which were salvaged from the Jones house. It is located at 604 Spring Drive -Lawrence County Museum of History, Bedford, Indiana]
