Disabled Children at Amusement Park, 1964

Description: Kiwanis Magazine: Sixty-seven members of the Kiwanis Club of Washington, D.C., provided all-day entertainment by a German band, lunch, and free rides for approximately 275 crippled children at a local amusement park. Twenty-five wives of Kiwanians and forty-one Key Clubbers pushed wheelchairs and helped kids on and off rides. Then they, too, were treated to lunch.
