Kiwanis Magazine and on back of photo: At the time the Kiwanis Club of North London, Ontario, first decided to convert Doidge Park into a modern playground it was nothing more than an abandoned gravel pit. Today, four years later, the park has a pool, a modern club house, and several pieces of western-style play equipment, including a frontier train, lookout tower, covered wagons, and this model of a stagecoach. |
