(Left foreground) William Penney, Manager of the Ball Team, is congratulated for his teams record this year by Walter Rabbit Maranville, the famous big league star of a few years ago. The jackets being worn by the team were presented to them by Rabbit Maranville in behalf of the New York Journal American during a luncheon which preceded the courtesy flight. The luncheon was given by the Airport Kiwanis Club, at LaGuardia Field, to honor the championship ball team. |
