First Meeting at NAJAC

Description: Caption: 9. The first formal meeting took place Monday evening in the gym. This picture is a test of your ability to recognize yourself by the back of your head. Its a little easier to spot the people on the platform. The speaker is Dr. John D. Millett, President of Miami University. Left to right, seated, are Joe Francomano, Jim Sweeny, Loretta June Eiermann, who led us in singing the National Anthem, Cecil Brown, parliamentarian, John Witt (behind the speaker), Dick Hagens, NAJAC President, Al Salonen of Finland, keynote speaker, Rome Collin, National Executive Director of J.A., and Tom Maggio, business meeting counselor. At the close of this meeting, area delegations and visitors were introduced, Director Bob Richards of Peoria led some rousing songs, and everyone enjoyed ice cream, cookies and cokes before returning to the dorms for curfew.
