Registration at NAJAC

Description: Caption: 8. Registration is more than room assignment and give-aways. Each delegate also receives the latest news on the Conference program, a guide to conduct at NAJAC, a special identification badge, an opportunity to check valuables, and any Conference mailing he may have overlooked or missed through late registration. Three general mailings were sent to all registered delegates prior to the Conference in June, July and August. These mailings contained all the information necessary to prepare for and travel to the Conference. In addition the registration tables permitted individuals with special intersts to get right into the swing of things. Candidates for office made appointments for their validation procedures, persons entering the Speakers Corps content turned in their prepared speeches and received speaking time schedules. Discussion group leaders were notified of their first meeting. At the very end of the line, Dave Horvath interviewed each delegate for interest and eligibility to enter the Young Presidents contest. Well see more about all of these activities in later photos. Now to identify a few of the Achievers in the photo. At the extreme left, in the background, is John Witt, NAJAC Vice-President. To Johns right, hand on hips, is Art Ahlstone, Houston counselor who arranged the Product display. Second from the right, next to the Bulletin board, is Bea Silvage of Chicago. Who are the two Achievers talking to Dave?
