Litz, Barringer and Shaw Inspect Barringers Burned Out Racecar, 1941

Description: Deacon Litz, George Barringer, and Wilbur Shaw stand with Barringers burned out racecar as it sits amongst the garage fire aftermath. The garage fire had occurred the morning of race day in the southern bank of garages at the track when fumes from the refueling of George Barringers racecar caught fire from some welding going on in a nearby garage.
