Mechanics and drivers, including Bill Cheesbourg and the #54 Novi Auto Air Special, Ed Elisian and the #5 John Zink Special, Johnny Thomson and the #7 D-A Lubricant Special, Len Sutton and the #68 Jim Robbins Special, and Johnnie Tolan in the #19 Greenman-Casale Special, work quickly to examine their cars as they sit on either the infield or the track following the first lap accident. |
