It was later owned by a grocer, Charles Hager who rented it to Jessee T. Murphy, a policeman. <br>This one-and-a-half story frame cottage is distinguished for its prominent gable window with pedimented hood and decorative frame. The first floor has three bays and a front porch with a balustrade and turned posts.
