Wiley Cottage
519 East Vermont Street
c. 1885
The Wiley Cottage is a good example of a Stick Style cottage. Features of this structure include a hip and gable roof, a front gable with decorative stickwork and a bay with a shed roof. The bay is distinctive for its applied abstract and sunflower motif ornamentation. The porch, which was originally much longer, is supported by a turned post which is a replacement.
