Talbott St.] Yes Goetz-Krieg-Kamphaus Double Residence1803-1805 North Talbott Street1910This 2-story double was built in 1910 and served as the residence of its owner Phillip Goetz, a broker, until 1914. Since that time it appears that at least one side of the double has been occupied by its owner, continuing with August F. Krieg and Gus Kamphaus. Krieg owned the double from 1920 until 1951, but continued to live here until 1967. Gus Kamphaus bought the double in 1951 and lived here from 1952 until the 1980s.This is a 2 1/2-story house, blending both English Picturesque and Craftsman Styles. It is faced with brick on the first floor; the second floor and 1/2-story are stucco between decorative stick work. Major features include the two large front porches, one shed and the other jerkin head gable roof.
