Alabama St.] Yes Humphrey House1706 North Alabama Streetc. 1882This building was probably built for the Humphrey family as its residence. The Humphrey family resided here until at least 1930. The house was converted to four, then five apartments by the early 1950s. The conversion may have been accomplished by the Holc family in the early 1940s.This 2-story dwelling is of frame construction with clapboard siding. There are pierced bargeboards at the gable ends which have round attic vents. There is a cross-gable roof and a corner side porch with square brick piers.
