Flo Cottrell

Description: 5-3/4x7-3/4 embossed silvered wood framed picture of Flo Cottrell. Pressed under the glass is a browned blossom. Contains a picture of the Fox Cottage memorial marker. Printed in ink on the bottom margin is: July 4, 1939. 12:32 P.M. Noon.Miss Cottrell is standing back of the Fox Cottage Memorial Marker at Camp Lily Dale, NY. The pressed flower was pressed inside this frame by Miss Cottrell and came from a bush in front of the cottage. Miss Cottrell and her guide, Uncle Ike, gave rapping demonstrations in the cottage after it was moved to Camp Lily Dale. These demonstrations were much like the rappings the Fox children heard in their first experiences in Hydesville.
