(Once-upon-a-time every child was expected to learn SOME instrument.) The Indpl. Symphony roots were here with Karl Barus as Herr Maesro during The Gay Nineties; later on Fritz Schafer with his van dyke beard. Butler Universitys Jackson Wiley presently is Music Director. |
