Description: |
monoprint on Rives BFK. Edition of 5. Empathy sparks from a common memory igniting solidarity and spurring action. In my own life, I see an attack as dangerous as the burning books and lost lives. Standardization of a people. Organized separation to keep submissive. People educated into molds. The lives of youth are lost down established paths to form a non-critical mass. There is an invisible structure that you must visualize like braille. An alternate sense is needed. Here the loss of knowledge happens without being seen. Books do not need to be burned when the necessity for them is forgotten (Retrieved from IUCAT November 6, 2019). |
