Timbers

Description: The information given by the photographer says, 145 timbers shipped on 3 flat cars from the state of Washington to build steamboat G.W. McBride at the Marine Ways in Madison. The location of the picture is behind the freight station on Vaughn Drive in Madison, Indiana. The workers stationed in front of the flatbed are evidently waiting on the mules to be brought up and hitched to the carts (see companion picture). Photograph taken circa late 1920s
