They took a little lunch along to satisfy their ever growing appetites, and which came in mighty handy for the way it was devoured when produced was a sight to behold. No Hooverites among the 1917 crowd. The trip was made in autos driven by Gerald Fox and James Scott. The report comes that Gerald had quite a workout during the trip fixing up punctures and blowouts.
