Letter, Lewis Cass o John Tipton, 1824-08-03

Description: Cass sends $1700 for payment of the Wabash and Elksheart Potawatomi people. Payment is to be made at Fort Wayne and Mr. Robert A. Forsyth will take the duplicate receipts for the money. Discusses Tiptons letter telling of the Frenchman, St. Aubin, introducing whiskey into the Indian country which should be handled by the District Attorney of Indiana.
