Landing of the Mayflower at Bass Lake

Description: For many years there were commerical boat rides available at Bass Lake and even boats that delivered vacationers to their hotels from a railroad spur that existed. Many people from northern Indiana and Illinois used these modes of transportation to reach their vacation accommodations while others just went boating on the water from their hotel pier.
