The Brabrook Hotel was located on what is called Cedar Point on the west side of Bass Lake. The hotel burned down in 1913. Prior to being called the Brabrook it was named the Larimer Hotel and was the first hotel to be built on the lake. It was originally built by Joseph Larimer in 1887. Advertisements for the Brabrook show that it had 50 rooms each of which could be rented for $1.50 to $2.00 per day or $8 to $12 for the whole week. |
